The Metamask history is not always the problem. It's Ethereum. There will be times when transactions go through and times when they don't depending on gas.

Weird, it succeeded transferring ETH to Binance after failing twice but then after one of them went through, I had to cancel another one. I can't tell if I tried 2 or 3 times but it's done. Metamask matches Etherscan. No problem there.
