So basically ur throwing in the profits into these bonds and should the market dump you make bigger gains compared to the losses should ur put get exercised, correct?

Basing your long term (60+ years in that case) portfolio on one single country performing is ridiculous.
Like basing your stock portfolio on the the great British empire in 1900. A lot can happen in 60 years. Countries rise and fall, industries and sectors come and go.

Imagine asking a 1980s man about generational wealth. He would recommend GE, Schlumberger, GM, Exxon and, as a pick for the future, the biggest SP500 company at that time. IBM.

Generational wealth is based on several sectors, industries and countries.

You really think the richest, smartest biggest hustlers in the world are going to let where they put their money, the stock market, fail? No. Safest spot for your money is in the market. Just buy dips and sell major events coming as the market goes into euphoria. Lets say for example Like news of a pandemic sweeping China and spreading to other countries. Had all the time I’m the world to get out before we crashed. Lets say you missed selling out for a recession that everyone knew ahead of time but you were too stubborn to sell. Just hold. You’ll recover and end up with gains. If the stock market fails then the system would have failed and the systems currency will be worth nothing then anyhow. So as Tony would say just buy it and park your money in the market. Make more than a bank and just as safe if not safer.

On a multi-decade time-scale, I agree - but you could definitely put together a decent portfolio to hold for 5-10 years and leave mostly unchanged.
Of course, you should periodically re-examine all your investments and decide if they still make sense or if it's time to switch to something else.

Herman Miller earnings were released earlier this afternoon. Mixed bag but it seems they are now trading way below where they should be relative to actual earnings. The hit to revenue has not been as bad as the market judged it to be. They have also restored their dividend. Up +16% in AH. I thought about buying it today but didn't want to flip the coin on their earnings.

be a fucking pity if Gamestop couldn't sell digital games
This is where their Powerup rewards membership program is vital for keeping people hooked in and buying from Gamestop. They have shit like $5 discount monthly.
Legit they can actually become a massive ecommerce niche because Amazon stopped doing same-day delivery on many products, but Gamestop is still able to do that.

That said I can't long GME (i'm in it for short-term as well) unless Cohen takes the lead, the guy who really knows his shit from building large-scale fulfillment centers from scratch. Might be better than these omnidirectional whatever crap that Gamestop is doing. You only get massive cost savings from properly scaling up.

Gamestop's corporate management is a fucking monstrosity, there was no reason Gamestop should have been on such a massive decline with the gaming industry as big as it is. The stores definitely are doing fine and are profitable, it's all the other expenses that's fucked over Gamestop.
also Gamestop doing share buybacks and continuous selling from insiders at the same time. These executives have been milking Gamestop hard for years, $32 million in bonuses the last 2 years, a corporate jet for their personal use

I'd feel a lot less secure betting on GME right now if not for Cohen and the activists pushing in two of their guys on the board. Seems to be on the right track so far for the console release, ignoring their fuck ups with covid.

You guys must understand.

Out of all the Logistics companies, you're relying on USPS. By far the laziest, least innovative entity in the industry. You're hoping they're going to give WKHS, an innovative EV company a 25%+ share in the contract...with these cheap oil prices....you're out of your mind.

USPS is most likely going to give Oshkosh the majority share. WKHS likely to get small share, tops 25%.
