How many of you degenerates have actually read/listened to this book?

I want to hear your criticisms and why this is not treated as the finance equivalent of the bible.

If anything, it made me extremely bullish on gold and silver in the long run. It's really not about Bitcoin as much as it is about fiat vs the concept of sound money. He does a real good job of arguing why Bitcoin is considered a sound money, while also illustrating why Keynes is a faggot, fiat ruins savings and punishes those who save rather than invest, and does a good dive into why the economy was poopoo and the gold standard was not responsible for the economic turmoil of the great depression. He also really hits home a fact that fiat is why war is allowed to continue as an industry. The fed can just print more money to find their silly fucking wars like in WWI. The most pointless fucking war in history. So then when the GED refused to repeg the gold standard, they tried to bail themselves out and failed hence the depression.

It's a good read and really easy to understand. It's more like an introduction, but everyone here should read it. It gives context as to why Bitcoin isn't going away.

Bitcoin is a purely speculative currency that will exist as a legacy investment. It's like owning a thousand pages of Sears stocks. No one will ever actually want to trade anything that can't handle smart contracts -- same with Ethereum 1.0. It's gas fees are too high and it takes forever to do fucking anything. Our current crypto currencies are like using dial up in comparison to what is to come.

What fucking year is it? Nobody is suggesting you should do that. But what you can do is store your wealth in a system that is not controlled by any state government, cannot be printed on demand diluting your stake in it (like the USA is doing at insane rates right now), and you can transfer as much of it as you want to anyone else in the world in minutes without a 3rd party involved. If you can’t understand how valuable that is you’re either a retarded zoomer or a nigger.
