- they benefit from the ethereum network by technically still being on ethereum
- fees are smaller on layer 2 networks

I see this as becoming the future, way simpler and cheaper than making your own coin, raising money with an ico etc. Gambling, cryptokitties, all those stupid stuff that usually clog up the network and die off when fees are too high will now issue their own sidechain

There is obvious fundamental value in lition vision for entreprises since it will represent consistent high volume transactions on the blockchain but what people don't see is the true hype a low fee sidechain environment can be for basically what we already have (defi etc)

Transactions cost about 0.01$ in lit (not sure how to calculate this), that lit is redistributed to the nodes.
Fully diluted there will be 100M lit, atm about 60M are in circulation, with half of those stacked already.
I dont know what they have planned for the long term, there might be some inflation.
But the value of the token comes from network usage, that should increase with mainnet and they say that they are going though the legislative hoops to make it a currency, as they plan to accept it as payment for their energy business

I think lit will be worth around $0.50 after mainnet, then a dump to $0.20 cent will follow. Within the next year it will go to $2. I get my energy from them and shill everybody I know to also get their energy from them.
