This is impossible. Your receiving address? Post proof of larp you tard. Otherwise people using the ledger watch list would’ve all been hacked by now

What I think happened is you clicked on a malicious link and they tracked your shit because you probably had your passwords/seeds typed out on your laptop or some shit.

Will someone please tell me how this guy got scammed from putting in his RECEIVING address?
Doesn't make a damn lick of sense.

>> No.22513281

>>22513206
could be a url scheme
you can register certain urls to open certain apps with an action/intent

so if you format a url the ripple client uses to send and anon clicks on it or the page redirects then he is fucked.

hard to imagine this would be done without confirmation tho.

did you just click on sign? did they gave you a "message" to sign to prove ownership kek? you fucking dumb bitch...

>> No.22514073

>>22513601
never
and if you sign a "message" specific to an address you hold that's a big red flag 99.9% it's a scam and they are stealing your money because the message is actually a tx.

I received a mail pretending to be a coindesk article. I immediately saw the mail which sent it was not right.

I checked if any news came up about the "airdrop", nothing.

However i opened the article and was farly believable, the domain had a certificate and the website(coindesk) seemed right except the i was a ì.

In general when is too good to be true it ain't.

I got greedy and a tremendous failure in good judgement. I am more upset about how stupid i am than the money.
