>work at walmart distribution center
>depending on position, location in distro, and speed, make between $18.50 to $29 an hour starting
Lol. How the fuck is life so easy?
It’s like the 100k a year starting McDonalds chef meme but for real.
I’ll answer any questions.

Here are the things that raise your wage
>Weekends instead of weekdays +1.50
>Refrigerated area +0.50 an hour
>Freezer +2.00 an hour (doesn't stack with the refrigerated area)
>Night shift +1.00 an hour
>Picking incentive for order fillers. Anything below 100% of estimated pick time you get 100% of your pay. Anything between 101-130% you get +1 to 30% of your base pay. Anything over 130% they don't incentivize because it encourages working too fast for safety.
>>22496885
No skills. I'm just fit and not retarded. There's a lot of muscular people here though.
>>22496947
You'd have to be pretty slow to be anything below 80%. Most people average around 110% after a few months. If you're really pushing it like the top 20% usually are, you can pass 180%.

This was my 1st weeks paycheck after "training" for 2 days.
I literally just watched videos giving a job overview. Next paycheck will be more because I worked in the warehouse itself and not in the training room where I earned incentive.

I'd rate my current fitness about 3/10.
I'd also rate your base American a 2/10, so I'm marginally better, but generally a gym bro prior to all of this. I've filled my used to be gym time with a second job to fill my pockets. Pretty good trade off imo.

What a weird way of looking at it.
People see hard work.
I see a workout + pay.
People see monotonous work.
I just see easy mode turning your brain off lifting.
This really is just an example of a mindset being key. I actually enjoy this mildly and will do it until I'm able to replace it back with the gym which I enjoy more.
