most of the lumber industry in the US is in the areas on fire. This means a huge decrease in supply, limits forward outlook tremendously, and coupled with the fact that homebuilding is through the roof (see what I did there), lumber futures are currently at all time highs. Unfortunately, the demand for lumber typically goes down heading into fall because cold temperatures do not allow for building projects to continue so you may be a bit late. Nonetheless, you can look for companies that own lumberyards outside of PNW and can likely still squeeze out some small gains.

Alternatively, all you really need to get hired on as a wildlands firefighter is a pulse and the pay is acceptable for the locations.

As a former powerlifter in high school and college, I used to think that too, then work made me do 60+ hours a week so I didn't have time to go to the gym.

Wanting to at least maintain a bench max of 315 lbs, I used to do 75 push ups a day.

I lost more fat and surprisingly kept my max 2 months after going to the gym.

I been increasing daily push ups since then now I'm doing 8 sets of 50 5 days a week.

My chest got significantly more defined and bigger and belly fat is gone.

I severely underestimated push ups, sit ups and squats

look for a top and bottom to form and when price gets back around there you buy the bottom or sell the top. sell half at some amount in profit especially half way between the two in case in reverses. this also allows you to keep a relatively tight stop loss in case you're wrong and support gets broken. it helps if you understand price patterns and volume to confirm a bounce, but you can also be more aggressive potentially and just buy/short near those areas in anticipation of a bounce, potentially starting with a half or third position so you can average down depending on how far past that area it goes before bouncing.

make sense?

Actually I am not sure. I like Nintendo, but they are kind of like Apple. Innovative, yet retarded, but their fanbase is very faithful. Like a step back for every 2 steps of innovation, but their fanbase allows them to charge a huge premium for "lol here's 3 old games on a ROM, limited time only, that'll be 59.99! Oh ad don;t forget you 69.99 controller that will drift in a month". The switch was a master stroke, but their next moves could be make or break. I think a company like Steam could enter the ring, put out a "switch like" and boom, most of the steam indie library is portable.

Condors. I sell OTM call spreads on pump days and OTM put spreads on red days. Have to be careful and ease into positions because you're basically fading the move, but it's one of my favorite strategies. I also do the same on stocks that have either shot up a lot or gone down a lot, basically placing my bet where the bottom or top is at. RH for example shot up after a nice earnings report I sold the $420/425 call spreads once it started stalling out.

Withholdings is money that your employer withholds from your paycheck and pays to the IRS in your name. You can change your withholdings to increase them (donate a larger portion of your paycheck to the IRS) in order to avoid doing these quarterly estimated tax payments. I believe when you file your annual return at the end of the year, the government expects you to have 90% of your tax obligation paid, and as long as you have done that, you are in the clear (pending your final payment of that last 10% course).

From my understanding, you pay taxes on ALL gains (% depends on your total income). If you hold for more than a year, it's only 15% tax on a gain. You can use up to $3000 in losses to deduct from your overall tax amount (i.e. if you 10k in gains, 5k losses, then you can use 3k in losses to pay taxes on 10k-3k=7k). Exception is if your losses are on the same stock you made the gain in within a 30 day time period.

This is only in reference to if you have an overall capital gains loss for the year. If you make 50k in gains, but lose 49k by years end, you only need to pay 1k on cap gains tax.

>> No.22495644

if you have big gains, then sell, those gains are realized and you have to pay.

If you use all that money by the end of the year to buy a stock and lost all of it on a bad one, you still have to pay taxes on your gains from the time you first sold.

Once you sell gains are realized and the record it.
