if i broke my ps4 controller and i need a new one why would i order it on amazon when i can go to gamestop and have it tonight

Same. I had a very fat Link stack and thought the shitcoin was going nowhere. What hurts most is I literally sold back in like Feb. I got conned into Hedera Hashgraph because they had some Google exposure and I thought they were the real deal. I haven't touched crypto in years but randomly when browsing /biz/ I saw hype and fomo'd in. Shit tanked the next week because, like always, it wasn't even a real fucking partnership and just Google making a dumb blog post about them. Liquidated a bunch of shitcoins I had in my Binance account for the fomo cause Crypto takes so fucking long to free up funds for unless you pay credit card or bank wire fees. I try to numb the loss but I hate that I fell for some shitty scamcoin and dumped what I assumed to be junk into it. Link hadn't fucking moved anywhere up since I got it so I thought it was dead in the water.

You have to consider the slew of shit that GME would have to deal with to move product like that, and frankly the model would be totally unappealing. You've already got subscriptions that give away games once a month or so, endogenous to the Microsoft and Playstation platforms. They also perform fire sales that retail literally can't compete with.

Fortunately there's a large segue in the gaming market they have the opportunity to capitalize on, but it's a big move. All the streamer and e-sport shit that's popping up could actually leverage a retail position, and GME's unique position in the market could actually benefit from it. You can't test a keyboard online, and there's a dozen variants of switches. Likewise a mouse or a controller are left wanting for the very same demonstrations, but again these assessments are left at best to some poorly defined subjective tests from reviewers.

GME would be far better off trying to entertain this market by signing deals with streamers and teams to move exclusive physical merchandise while offering consumers the ability to assess their peripherals in-person. But physical exchange of games is dead, and has been for a long time.

No, I think commodities are volatile as fuck as seen from gold and oil as easy examples. Your safest place is in equity, especially consumer staples, healthcare, and telecomm right now. what you have to realize is that Gamestop just has to cut off its corporate bloat (like stop wasting $32 million in bonuses for its executives the past 2 years) and it's instantly back to double digits. It doesn't have to do anything revolutionary because it's already making billions of dollars in revenue annually, and 20% of its revenue was ecommerce this quarterly (~$200 million).

Is that the kind of revenue you expect from a 400 million market cap company? Like I don't know if a massive short squeeze is still possible, but GME is actually less riskier than all the other shit in the market just because of how undervalued it is and that it now has a bunch of activists that are butthurt mad at its board (Permit and Hestia's been bagholding since 2011 and they put in 2 of their people into the board to get their shit together). The CEO and CFO still seems to be retarded judging by the webcast call on Q2, the CFO in particular I have no fucking idea why they didn't jump on paying off the 2021 bonds immediately while they were at a 30% discount. most retarded shit ever. They've basically just "lost" like $20 million or something because they sat on cash instead of shuffling their debt better. they are so fucking retarded.

I'm sure they're going to be an obstacle to Cohen as well. Even Burry got so fed up with GME not listening to them he just decided to give up and be a passive investor now, he reduced his shares to under <5% around April/May.

AQN has surprisingly good growth for what you might expect from a safe "divvy" stock. Over 400%+ returns (before dividends) across a decade for something pretty low-risk and stable.
