Depends on the virus, yeah? The mechanism by which a virus loses it's fatal touch is by killing people quite quickly. CoV's incubation period is known to be as long as several weeks while also being transmissible. Totally different mechanistically, you can get it and rapidly spread it without any indication that you've even gotten it. After that it's a really favorable game of Russian Roulette.

My company uses LNG/CNG as well as Diesel fueled semi's.

It's only a matter of time until they go to Hyliion. Both for the aftermarket Hybrid part and their new Semi. We're also pre-ordering Tesla Semi's though...but Hyliion will catch their eye soon enough.

If you were smart you would have bought up dividend stocks that were severely depressed in March/April. If you got in at a great price, and dividends return to normal in 3 years, you saved yourself years, possibly decades, of slowly building up dividend growth. Personally I got enough Divvy stocks so that if they fully recover I'll be making around 10k/year with a 20k original investment. A few years of re-investing that and I'm basically set by the time I hit my 40's.

Obviously assuming things do recover.

WWI into the depression, stonks only go up, but then they really go down banks blow up, green new deal, infrastructure and then WWII blows up and everybody and their dog is working 12 hour shifts for the war effort while millions (a fairly sizeable count in those days) are eradicated in combat. Not to mention bombs blow up and tanks get blown up, so there's a constant demand for the shit. You step out of it for a moment, but then you go to Korea and shortly afterward you move into Vietnam, not too long afterwards you move into the Middle East and occupy that for a minute and then a decade...

Probably helped that we exonerated a shitload of Axis criminals, too, and moved them to the US to supplement our economy.
