So at the moment it looks like we need to invest in Google or Facebook if we are to invest in AGI.
But why do I have the impression that the singularity will rather come from a Chinese or Russian company?

Also, in this interview, Sam Harris said at one point that the first country to develop strong AI would likely get atomized by the others. So it is likely that the development of a strong AI will be done in secret, IMHO.

I do not know any. I just see an ocean of shitcoins. But I am obviously not an expert.

Anyway, if/when a strong AI emerges, the future of finance may become (even more) uncertain, and I would be more inclined to invest in the company that will be the first to develop it. Like, I don't know, Baidu, Google, etc...

AGI won’t be possible till we pass through the quantum computing bubble and despite what neckbeards will tell you we still haven’t proven quantum computing can actually exist past microseconds of operability. This. Atleast AGI that is. Not sure what to think about KAT yet. AGI will reward those who are iron handed enough to endure the next year.
