700 trades during 2 years (2018 and 2019) with half a lot per trade and $2700 profit. $10k starting balance and max 8% drawdown. Sharp ratio = .09

Anon cool that you made a bot. Would you mind sharing the script?

i dont want to. because if too many people see it, then it becomes less effective.
it's 1000 lines of code btw

You would have held and you would have made more. Your bot literally was a nuisance to your wealth.

Considering how much hours you probably wasted watching the bot, you are at a loss very likely.

i didnt need a bot to invest in link and x3

you lose though because of your sharp ratio

700 trades? Is your profit subtracting trading fees? Because it should

>> No.22403579

There’s a couple frontrunner bots I’ve seen on uniswap that have made 100x in a month. Like 20 ETH to over 2000 and rising.

>> No.22403656

I also made a bot. It bought 20k Link for 5k usd in 2017. Never sold a single one. Over 200k usd in profit so far. No single line of code. No Backtest.

Good luck when running it in a live setting
Overfitting is very real for trading bots

what's the general idea of the bot? what are you looking at?

>> No.22403824

Is it worth paying to use someone's bot? Like those telegrams where you pay a fee and you get access to their bot telling you what to buy and sometimes you can get access one that buys their stuff automatically and manages your funds in binance or other exchange

Can you just show a part of the code? Curious what this stuff looks like. What did you write it in?

Lolololololol if the 0 wasn’t a typo
.09 is garbage tier

why didn't you just design it to buy bitcoin in 2011?

You could have just bought LINK instead in 2018 when you started making/using this bot, held it, and made a something like 30x your investment by now. You got largely outperformed and outsmarted by a bunch of brainlets in this board. And they will end up much, much richer than you ever will and never have to work again, by doing less than you.
How does that make you feel, shit for brains?
