I think the point is that GME is the most overly hated ticker on the NYSE. Yes, even more hated than TSLA. But considering its balance sheet and book value the market isn't being rational about it even if you think the murmurs of an acquisition by Chewy are more than just usual chatter around a secular declining business. There are autists hoping for a short squeeze given the float.
I think there might be something to it through the winter which is a strong time for retail but I just don't think its worth the time you'd have to sit on the shares.

Fortunately this og stinky never got a marriage license or signed shit together. I got tricked but it is a dangerous game she plays. >> No.22363757

question at bottom

I am longtime stock trader who returned from a multi year hiatus.

I have a respectably sized boring TDA account but earlier this summer I saw the heat and with nothing better to do got back in. I used fundamentals to chose some companies but abandoned all of my principles and opened call positions on companies at strikes I never wanted to own at let alone own underlying shares of.

To not disgrace my dignity, I opened a robinhood account and proceeded to dump tens of thousands into it.

Honestly, ToS was too technical for how stupid I knew I was being. I know what options are how the process isn't as simple as many think it is. It had been years and ignorance was bliss and I wanted to believe stonks only go up

I proceeded to lose about 10k from the recent selloff, because in my impulsive, gambling state (stock portfolios are pretty boring - never got gambling vibe), i never considered hedging beyond averaging down and lower strikes.

I lost most of this on a single company that will likely trade well above my now and soon to be expired calls' strikes. This wasn't a tesla apple split yolo, hell I didn't think it was a yolo and let myself believe calls-only couldn't go tits up.

>I am asking you guys now, am I a robinhood nigger?

It wasn't a biopharma or a P&D, I got greedy and cheap with expirations.

I realized enough loses today that I won't have to pay taxes on my stock gains.

If i am a robinhood nigger in denial please tell me and I'll delete the app and forget about the other 15k hanging out in various calls and leaps. I didnt know I was addicted to gambling.

I think the potential for WKHS lies in the wild volatility of Elec Vehicles right now and the possibility of a $6B+ deal from USPS. If this thing moons, I think its gonna be fast, fed by EV Fomo and provided you get in pre-moon will print like TSLA for those who get in early enough. It will be subject to the post moon volatility though so if you want profits, takem and run when (IF) it moons. I do not think it will go to $2k or anywhere close, it simply doesn't have the meme following for normies. This is based on my market read of tiktok/FB investing fucking normies. IF USPS cuts them outta the $$$, big AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA. So keep your stops and sell ASAP if that happens.

My Resume: I bought TSLA as soon as I heard and could get my accounts sorted out again (mothballed them for a few years) there was gonna be a split because I KNEW fags and basedbois would come running to slurp up Elon's meme cum. I sold at $472 and made a comfy profit.

Also consider that Xbox game pass (which just added EA play) may become a phenomenon along with the digital only Series S console, and that the Digital-only PS5 will also sell very well. Eshop business on the Switch has also gone up dramatically. There are very real threats here even beyond competing with amazon

Like have you guys ever considered I might be willing to pay those shipping fees to get a game I want in my hands? wtf. Just not winning business being done here.

ive purchased call options over the years and 8/10 times exercised them.

i'll look into those leveraged ETFs as a way of stepping down from the all or more likely nothing stance.

perspective wise, if i balanced that position, my portfolio would be up 40% over the last two weeks not down over 50%. there is no stop loss for robinhood. i am a robinhood nigger, clearly. i'll transfer the leaps and liquidate the rest and delete the app. that wasnt fun

The point is the leverage, as some of us are too dumb for options. USD is a 2x tracking dow jonesy semiconductors. Picked up a small amount of shares back at the beginning of April and its been doing pretty well, still up about 80% (over 100% at the highest) on my cost even after the past few days. Moves are slower than SOXL of course, but consistently in the right direction so far. INTC and NVDA make up almost 20% of the holdings, something to be aware of though.

WKHS is 80% hype. The 6B USPS deal will allow USPS to purchase all of their trucks from WKHS at a price of $35,000/truck. Guess what? A normal WKHS truck sells for $50,000. Do you think they have THAT MUCH of a profit margin on every vehicle they sell?

Also - look at their earnings presentation. Their last slide doesn't show customers - it shows potential customers. Amazon already signed a deal with Mercedes-Benz (Sprinter), Fiat Chrysler (Ram ProMaster), and Ford (Transit).

The management has done a good job selling a story - and that's all they needed to make OODLES of money despite piss poor earnings relative to their share price.
