from what they have posted, yield farming is essentially inflationary and no benefit is is had by holding the token. if they force you to stake DMG in order to yield farm then price might recover. otherwise this goose is cooked

>> No.22342393

>>22342380
They won't mint new DMG, though, right? There will still be a hard cap of 250,000,000 and yield farming will eventually stop.

To be fair no one bought DMG because of the cars. The team claims they plan to tokenize real estate loans which if they manage to succeed at that the governance token is invaluable and probably 5000 would be a make stack. Real estate is a 280 Trillion dollar market and if they manage to get 1 Trillion AUM (1/3rd of 1% of all real estate) then token is worth like $1100 with ridiculous dividends. You could retire just off of DMG. Are they going to be able to pull that off. Who the fuck knows.

I'll probably buy 5K at these prices and forget about it for a few years

Yield farming should bootstrap the liquidity needed for DMM to expand its AUM. In the DeFi world governance token price seems to be correlated with AUM/TVL, so ideally this will lead to at least partial price recovery of DMG.

>> No.22344945

>>22344907
Retarded logic. DMG farmers will simply market dump.

Wait until you see 250,000 DMG released daily in November for a whole year. Tokenomics are some of the worst I’ce ever seen.

Enjoy the losses.

>Yield farming should bootstrap the liquidity needed for DMM to expand its AUM
It also means people are dumping tokens on the market and crashing the price. It's not even on a decent exchange to provide enough liquidity for the dumping.

>> No.22344990

If there is one lesson you should learn on /biz/ it's that when a lot of people appear at once and they're all suddenly super hyped about a shitcoin you've never heard of before, it's a scam.
Completely inorganic "growth" of hype around this one. Live and learn.

Whales are already doing a good enough job of that by themselves. 1m DMG farmed over the course of a month is nothing, whales have dumped that much over the course of hours.

It is when there's no buyers to support it. The whales sold for a reason, they aren't coming back for a long time fren.
