I really like the idea behind their project and the fact they are backed up for those ideas, but do u think their project is promising for the long term? I think there might be a chance they pull it off on the long term and I hold couple of ADA in my port. What do u guys think?

If anything Cardano is THE coin for a long term hold. When smart contracts release at the end of the year Cardano is officially the best product on the market and superior to eth and eth2.0. ALGO is more centralized (whitelists for running nodes), while Cardano is one of the more decentralized projects out there. CEO of ADA is way younger than ALGO's. ALGO is more connected with traditional fintech while Cardano more with crypto/blockchain. Tech performance is about similar, heard that Cardano is somewhat better security-wise but cannot personally attest. Both are good projects.
