>send inventory to get stocked in Amazons fulfillment center in Georgia
>it’s been sitting there for an entire month with only one SKU out of 5 checked in
>it’s a seasonal item so I’m losing money by the second...

bros...what’s the e-commerce play this quarter 4. I can’t fuck with Amazon FBA dicking my inventory around for weeks at a time once their volume goes up even higher.

Yet you didn't sell the checked it item.

Why not merchant fulfill? Make sure you offer competitive shipping times with free shipping. Maybe I'm an idiot but I stopped fba 3 years ago but I'm more about lower volume higher ROI.

FBA was easy money before COVID gave every business an excuse to not give a shit anymore.

Fba was so much fun before they jacked up all the fees. 2014 FBA was insane there were times where most items you had no fba competition. i feel like normies got into the fba business and people are just selling at a loss without even realizing it.

Once I realized this it blew my mind. There’s so many sellers out there selling shit for meager profit or a loss. I Recently made the mistake of trying to explain to one seller that the item she bought for $144 to resell, That she wasn’t making any money (just $8 BEFORE shipping) selling it on eBay for $175 because their fees are so high (12.9%.) She sent me back this. The resale game is so saturated now with newbies and idiots who don’t understand that undercutting is a race to the bottom. Nor do they understand the fees they’re paying.

Yep post 2017-18 FBA went to shit. Plus you have Amazon itself literally stealing peoples businesses.

How can you offer competitive shipping? Unless you have a corporate account with FedEx, UPS you're paying retail fees to ship. Even the business fees aren't much lower and that's 7day standard compared to Amazon's 2day

Then there's USPS

175 - 17.5 = 168.5?

Exactly. Not only that but she was wrong about the “like $2.” It’s a 2.9% fee which on $175 makes for about $5. But this is what the market is crowded with now, people who are so new they don’t even realize they’re just adding fees to ebays pockets and making the item more expensive for consumers.
