I don't think any coin will surpass bitcoin in terms of sheer profit. That being said there are plenty of good crypto projects to invest in. Do your research and be careful of scams. ( FUD and low market caps)

H ere are some coins i'm in on BUIDL, BZRX and LCX.

F ind some coins/tokens that help develop cryptocurrency. But I wouldn't invest the whole 8K in, say 4 but split it between a few projects.
