Should we start freezing our semen boys? just incase we want kids someday after we make it? idk about you guys but in a few years ill be 30 that's when your semen starts to degenerate and by 40-45 it's worthless

Only freeze your semen when you’re at your genetic peek. If you are living a NEET basement dweller lifestyle don’t bother, just put your semen where it belongs - swaddled in disgusting pile of kleenex on the floor in front of your computer

This.
Unfortunately sperm and eggs stored on their own are at a much higher risk of sustaining damage during freezing / unfreezing than a fertilized egg

not true. age's effect on reproductive ability is not as severe for men as it is for women but its still significant. yes you can have a kid at 50 while a woman cant, but a man having a kid at 50 is like a woman having a kid at 35: significant chance of producing a chris chan tier autist. being in top tier shape can only hold off the effects of age so much. if you're a man and you want kids with the best genes you can provide you should have all your kids before 45

Male sperm count has dropped >50% in <40 years.
>The results, published in the journal Human Reproduction Update, showed a 52.4 percent decline in sperm concentration and a 59.3 percent decline in total sperm count among North American, European, Australian and New Zealand men.
>In contrast, no significant decline was seen in South America, Asia and Africa. The researchers noted, however, that far fewer studies have been conducted in these regions.

The issue isn't the ability to inseminate, but germline mutations. Fertile men are generally fertile well into their 60s, it's just there are health risks with increasing paternal age.

It's a good idea for you to freeze now but it's not a huge rush, your body generally does a good job 'pruning' sperm with mutations until 35-40 or so, after which you start to see increasing risks with every added year. but e.g. theres no real difference in schizophrenia risk for 30 year old father vs 20 year old father

Unironically not a fag but I froze it and ate it once. Just wanted to see what the gf tasted and I kinda enjoyed it. Could never pull it off post orgasm
