what i do now is, keep a pot for shit coin gambling, then a larg pot for farming....

compound the farm gains and run pool to pool searching the best apy and dump the coins you get unless they are actually good

20,000 compounded 1 percent over 3 months is 150,000 or something like that

eth gas fees fuck it up, so waitinf for tron and polka boom

use the shit coins to fuel this machine...

and when they pump sell 75% of them

they all dump

if you focus on meeting a quota evry day, you'll cloud your mind with pressure and end up forcing bad trades. You need to realiz that even 3% in a month is good. Repeat that. 3% in a month is considered good. people who can make 30% in a year are considered worth millions. You can of course make more but at a point when you're loading on risk and being greedy, evaluate yourself. Gains lead to rockstar mentalities that always crash and burn at some point.

with an account that small, you're better off just working until you have a more sizable account. Papertrade responsibly to understand your method, but don't think papertrading is at all the same: Completely different.

Starting with like $500, the gains will be so small you'll feel like you're wasting your time, even if you're not and you're practicing your skill. Too much money and you might start stressing more if youre poor (aka feel like your future is in jeopardy)

My issue is that I’ve already got the knowledge and the skill to trade but I’ve only traded with $100. I understand price action and risk management very well. I also have a very profitable short strategy and I understand cutting loss early before losses magnify. My real problem is money. I’m thinking if I take $1,000 on 30x leverage and a very small window of risk using the right risk management with $50 position sizes and never adding. That would be 5% of total account balance. Is that too much risk in your opinion? Sorry for blog post

Well look I'm not trying to pretend to be an expert, if you know price action and risk then that's great, you're better off that 80% of traders who use indicators and emotions, etc.

If you want to gamble early that's fine if it get you balanc where you want it and then stop, but ust make sure it doesnt teach you the wrong lessons... Everyone does a risky trade and it teaches your mind "hey this worked, I can do it again when I need to" fucked me, fucked everyone who thinks they're special.

5% is fine, like, thats up to your risk tolerance. As you grow go to 2, then 1 and if you eventually become a big boy, .5% is ideal imo.

if you really know your shit, then Id honestly suggest just getting a job of some sort to save up more money for your account. growing a 100 account honestly sounds like a waste of time for you...possible yes but you're going to be doing alot of work for what amounts to like $5 a day. Hopefully it helps you hone your skills more.

to be clear and im sure you well know, I mean % risk lost IF YOU GET STOPPED. so if your trade doesnt work you lose 1% account and no more. I dunno if I need to state the obvious. honestly with crypto, less risk because of slippage being so severe

3% in a month on average is bad because it's not possible to achieve without taking too much risk. 3% per quarter is good.

if your edge is 60% and you put on a trade once a day, that's 30 charts which you hopefully aren't forcing, and you should be able to go +3% most months.. Some months you'd be down but some you maybe up... Obviously though it's higher risk but granted you're hopefully putting in a ton of work.

So you want a 100x.
1% a day for a year is 1.01^365 = 37.7
So at 1% a day for a year you'd go from $200 to $7540.

Experiment with the equation (1+r)^d=m

r = rate (used 1% in example: 1 + .01)
d = number of days (365 in example)
m = multiplier (37.7 in example)

To get the days is a different calculation
If you want 100x in 100 days for example:

(1+r)^100days = 100
100 log (1+r) = log(100)
log(1+r) = log(100) / 100
1 + r = e^(log(100) / 100)
r = e^(log(100) / 100) -1
r = 0.0471
So you would need 4.71% a day to go from $200 to $20k in 100 days.

We can check our answer plugging back in to the original equation:

(1.0471)^100 = 99.72 which is just under 100 due to rounding.

if you had $1 and made an 8% gain on it, then reinvested the 1.08 and made an 8% gain on that, and performed this process 210 times (if my memory is correct) that $1 would become 10 million. I think that should put into perspective how it might be better to try and catch quick obvious pumps then to all in rugpull shitcoins at the top for the hope of making it in one trade.

No problem.
t. engineering degree

The second equation which is what you were originally asking for simplifies to:
r = e^(log(m)/d) - 1

Just to clarify, since you wanted 200 to go to 20k:
m = 20,000/200
m = 100

e is a constant that always equals 2.718

>> No.22288867

>>22285527
0.5% that gives you a dollar a day. And to play it safe you withdraw that dollar every single day. That way you will only need 20,000 days to make 20k. Literally the easiest thing to do ever.
