My losses are literally in a quantum state neither at one level of wojack or another low-level, deeper pink wojack.

I bought in at $10 so I’m still up, and with farming yield I have outgained the impermanent loss which goes away as price goes back to $50-60

Did you just keep farming through out this huge market correction?
How much imoermanent loss did you get hit for?
I pulled out 2 days ago and managed to avoid the impermanent loss but have watched my farmed stash loose 75% of its value.
Not too fussed though, it'll come back.
I'm scared on imp loss though, dont even fully understand it desu

Agreed, plus I don’t think they lived the same market crash we all lived yesterday and today, it’s almost as if nothing but yfv crashed to them, or maybe they bought the top like retards on the second highest market cap yf coin.

is imparement loss only the 2% fee when you take out your shit from farming?

>> No.22231611

Bitching around because the token value dropped... seriously? You guys know that king shit coin dropped in price right? The whole fucking market is bleeding and you pussies freak out because YFV lost in value. To be honest it holds incredibly well in the current market situation. Piss off and turn off your computer for a month.

>> No.22231641

And what pisses off me the most ist that you piss heads invest into something volatile which don't even understand

Read this whole article:

and then you will be able to sleep again

It’s called impermanent for a reason. Zapper allows you to view it. Also, with the IL comes IG of YFV so that offsets some of the loss too about 66% the $ value which was easily made up for with farmed yield. Yes I farmed throughout all of this, still am.

No it literally means, as I told earlier, that your loss exists in a (semi)quantum state.
Like an electron, it is neither in one place nor another. It's a relationship.
Much like "Paper gains" that you accumulate without ever selling. Which is a relationship between BTC & Fiat.
You have lost some of the value of your investment, on paper, as the prices diverged. However, as the prices of the two assets you are involved in converge back together towards your buying price, your losses are no longer permanent, and in fact your total money could even go above the ratio between the two assets you bought them at.
It's a lot like "losing acceleration" in a car. You can still maintain the same velocity (price) in the car over time as your foot eases off the pedal when you reach your desired speed, but if you're not accelerating it's more difficult to increases your car's velocity. Just as your impermanent loss means you are not achieving your desired investment as fast, but you are still on track to get there, so to speak.

As an example - I put 1276 Link into the Balancer Pool and 5 YFI
I now have 20 fewer Link and 7 extra YFI
My funds would have been better of (excluding farming) if I had held Link on its own. The more Link's price diverges from YFLs (in a positive sense for Link) the greater that impermanent loss will be. If YFL comes back closer to the price it was when I entered the pool - the impermanent loss will close. I hope that helps

>> No.22232018

I hope he figures now out that he realizes his loss if he takes out now his stack from the pool under the current market conditions.

That is why you should hold and continue farming. It will go up again.

Yeah? When? What's the price floor, $10?
