If I get married, receive an inheritance, then divorce, is she entitled to half the inheritance?

Did you sign a prenup?

How is that relevant? The asset would be acquired during marriage

>> No.22202273

Yes. If someone died and she was there for you emotionally then she is entitled to that money. How could you think you don't owe her for being there in your time of need?

>> No.22202350

I think it needs to be stated in the testament, that your spouse has no right to the inheritance.

Just accept that it's all hers now. Be happy you get blowjobs.

In every country you can make that kind of deal saying you will never share money in case of divorce, even with kids.

But then she can go to justice even after signing it and still win.

I don’t understand this marriage scam, why people jump on it is outstanding stupidity

I refuse to take part in this jewish abomination. Only /pol/ simps are dumb enough to consider a contract with the state and roastie that gives no benefit to a man that he can't get outside of marriage.

In all US states, just living with the person entitles one to their shit on breakup. 'Specified Co-habitation' is the legal term I believe. And the time together is relatively short too, something like 24 months continuous living together, as well as same-sex is available for this too. Courts are flooded with these cases of young women moving in with a sugar daddy just for the targeted time to bleed them when they move out. They're not as successful as a binded contract of marriage, but many get through or settled before going to arbitration. Be wary of it and do your best to avoid letting her 'move in'.

No. As long as you don’t commingle those assets (ie put them in a joint account with both your names). Seeing how progressive judges are getting, though, who knows in states like California or Illinois.

DYOR since your circumstances are most likely different from mine. But Nevada is the only state you can legally fake your death. Best bet is probably to create a false identity in another country and have them become the inheritor of your wealth, unless you take it all out and run with it. I know people that used fishing boats to get into countries illegally and get around customs.

This. Married men get less sex than even single monogamous men. Once the roastie gets the contract signed the pussy dries up as she already gets the beta bux either way. If she does have needs they will get met by Tyrone on the weekend or Chad at work.

Yes. And you did nothing to earn it and neither did she so you can both get fucked as far as I care

>> No.22204562

Actual lawyer here.
Depends on the state. If you live in a cucked community property state, she probably gets half.
If you live in a non-cucked state, you need to keep it separate from the marital estate. Dont use it to pay bills or buy groceries. Talk with an estate planner if its enough money to warrant the fee. Better to pay the legal fee on the front end to prevent the problem than on the back end to solve it.

Also think it probably doesn't matter what the will says. Once the money is transferred, they spend it how they want.
If you want to keep your money in your bloodline, and prevent your kids spouses from hijacking your estate in a divorce, you have to start looking at trusts.

>> No.22205350

>>22202271
It is absolutely relevant.
>>22202206
If it's ina trust it should be fine. If you inherit it early and expect a divorce just make sure to protect it by either putting it into another trust, a life insurance plan (these things are for a lot more than getting money when you die) or some sort of assets that cannot be touched by her.

I don't know where you're based, but just asked my partner who is a matrimonial solicitor in the UK and she says that in the UK yes a portion of the inheritance could go to her but not necessarily half.
