So I’ve been trading nearly a month now. Finally convinced my wife to let me invest our savings as we save for a house (around 11k). I took about $6,000 and went all in on MYT after their store openings. Not even 3 days later and I’m down $1000. I quickly pull out and decide to invest in a safer mainstream company. That fucking company was ARR on the advice of a few anons. I am down around $13 again. However I qualify for the monthly dividend. $2.20 in my case My question is there any legal recourse I can take against ARR for not warning shareholders of a .02% loss. When MYT shit the bed I had atleast 4 different law firms email me about a class action against MYT. I signed up but all I keep getting are ads for stock market related tax prep.

Think of it in these terms a five year old could grasp - we, the company, are making more stocks, but we're giving you an equivalent value for the stocks you hold. Your individual stocks are now worth less, but you still have the same amount monetarily as we gave you more stocks to compensate. What does this mean? We, which includes you, the previous stock owner, can now sell more stocks at a lower price to people who have not entered the market due to the price barrier. Guess what happens when a company has been on a bullshit rally, media hype, and there's a stock split? People buy into it because now it's affordable, which means you are tricking more new stock owners into buying at a peak due to the lowered barrier of entry. Anyone with any sort of money or skin in the game knows that this is a perfect point to leave other people holding your bags.

Just a word of advice for anyone here reading: if whatever investment you have is suddenly doing a stock split and they're trending in the news, get the hell out unless you're doing some short-trade scamming with dead stocks like JC Penney. Likewise, the opposite is true for a consolidation, that means that there's going to be serious, positive movement due to a smaller pool of players, but they're far more committed and have serious investments for a long-term future.
>>22184563
TSLA has a 400b market cap for being a car company whose all-electric gimmick is already adopted by many of its competitors with minor renewable energy side-gigs. Ford has less than a tenth of that and moves more vehicle sales. Tesla is a company solely propped up by a charismatic venture capitalist with little to show otherwise, especially in a zombie economy where a ton of people are still out of work and there's moratoriums on debts and evictions en masse.

Monetary and fiscal policy can not get any more profligate than they already are (one would hope,) so no or little change there.

He has said some things that raise eyebrows to professional traders, I think something to the effect of "people are going to have to find another career than day trading" - grossly paraphrasing there. He's pro green new deal, or at least pays lipservice to it, which if that ever gained serious traction would completely destroy wide swathes of the economy (energy sector, airlines, cruises, travel.) Safe to say domestic policy would become more anti-business. FAGGOTMAN stocks would probably do fantastic, however.

Also, thinking more long term, a Biden win would herald the rise of complete Democratic control over the United States government at every level. Regardless of your political ideology, it is pretty obvious that Democrats are poor managers when they get total control. Look at any major city or state that's blue. Cali can't even keep the fucking lights on, their country burns to the ground every few years - both of these are very easily solvable problems, but they don't solve the problem. That's more abstract an issue but a real one nevertheless IMO.

Biden would also probably be more likely to take an active role meddling in MENA. His former boss basically created ISIS. Bad for geopolitical stability.

No, the market tanked because the media painted the picture that an actual financial doomsday would happen if Trump got elected. It was literally that event that made the market finally understand that they can't sell/buy based on what the media posted about Trump. The market will tank because even though Biden is the typical politician under the american elite umbrella like Hillary, Obama, Bush, etc etc.. what he has said is not pro-market and yes I know he needs to pass the changes through the senate which will not happen and blablabla, but that doesn't mean he can't push through EO's and regulation changes to un-do what Trump has done. That alone will scare a lot of institutions to drop some of their positions.
Look how volitile the market is nowadays, now mix that with Biden coming through with his ideas to scare investors and HFT's. Volatility mixed with them being scared is not a good thing

I like TSLA products but realistically there should already have been a massive class action suit over the "self driving" issue - 1. That it's false advertising, and 2. Yeah? So what’s the dump then? It was obviously over inflated but I’m not sure its still not the strongest of the normal fag stocks. I’m looking for a quick pump and dump not a long term investment, so for me it’s really between FB APPL MSFT and TSLA; theyre all the most likely to make a quick recovery for a quick return on my cash. Of those I think TSLA is the most stable, with APPL next. What are dumping in? Are you going for something more long term?
