Biz if you had the opportunity for a whale-size bag of rsr or link at current prices , lets say 5m rsr or 10k link and were looking for a long term hold to eventually make it with, which would you choose?

Good decision, I would go all in on rsr,
it is still super young and has more room to grow.
Link is a household name now, it will continue to go up but reserve is a sure thing.

Ignore fud and keep those hands strong.

You know what I mean, within the stock / crypto community it is well known now.
I have normies hit me up about Link all the time thinking they've found some secret moonshot.

RSR has greater potential for growth, simple answer, close thread, basedandreservepilled.

Fair. got fat stack of rsr and average stack of link for the same reasons.

I decided to go all in last year, at one point had 7M RSR and like 5000$ of link,
ended up selling a little of the rsr, then going all in.
Now all I hold is 4M rsr and I've turned 10k into 120k in around a year and a half, if we hit a dollar I have 4 million to play with.

I remember a year ago the fudders saying it was in no way possible for it to even reach a cent,
I bet they're kicking themselves right now.

RSR, more room to grow. 50/50 if you really can't make up your mind

>> No.22140560

link has way more fundamentals than rsr, I do not see how rsr will ever supplant the usd or its digital successor

Once mainnet is turned on later this year, you'd be way better of arbing RSR than yield farming.

i was really tired to trade, even with bots, now i'm just holding 1k ycurve and 1k DAI and do something less boring with my free time.
The gaz fee to stack is so high you probably wanna just put eth.

the strength of the usd is wholly dependent on its status as a reserve currency, the idea that a digital coin would somehow overcome the value proposition of the fed, the imf, and the American military is ludicrous. Only pariah states would have a use for it and why in the world would they buy into some western soicoin

Again, not the value proposition of a decentralized stablecoin. If the citizens of mismanaged and censored economies had trivial access to centralized western fiat to bank their spare cash in then the ideological architects of their economic crises would have to compete and be forced to normalize and comply with real economics. Obviously this does not happen.
RSV is not a direct competitor to the US dollar beyond the scope of crypto as a competitor to fiat in general. The conversation of it replacing the US dollar is an interesting one, but wrapped in the context and scope of a future in which the US dollar has collapsed in relation to crypto for other, broader, more distant reasons. That conversation is intriguing for its own reasons, but it is not intended to imply that the value proposition of the Reserve protocol is that it will become stable enough to dethrone the USD by direct superiority, or that the USD somehow MUST become dethroned in order for RSV to function as intended.

(The conversation about whether or not RSV will succeed in its actual intended purpose is ALSO lively and fascinating and nuanced, but recognize that it is a separate conversation from this one as well.)
