The way i understood it, is that they wanted to avoid a situation where only whales could have participated in the staking (due to the high gas), which meant they could have earnt really outsized rewards. That'd be seen in the same light as the curve premining scam. So even if gas continues to stay as-is for the next 2 days, it's still considered "fair".

They have an announced integration, good token economics. Will the platform have as much adoption as we hope?
