How anyone can say with a straight face that Ethereum is overvalued is beyond me.You really think with all the DEFI buzz in the market with coins going 10x, 100x even 1000x that the KING DEFI in which all these projects are built on is just gonna sit around, not doing jack shit and watching from the sidelines? LOL! When I first entered the space, I put my money in ETH, not because of suggestions I heard from many prominent figures in the space, but for the price. "The 2nd most popular crypto is under $100? That seems odd" was the first thing I thought when I saw this project not too long ago. Within just a few months, ETH has gone from a little under $100 to almost $500 with a current price target of 800 BONES!! Are you fricking kidding me??? We got projects where the devs had admitted that their own coin is overvalued or even valueless yet they are able to hit thousands upon thousands of dollars for no particular reason. WHen it comes to Ethereum, this thing is a sleeping giant, a time bomb waiting to absolutely EXPLODE! Who knows, perhaps The Flippening could be making a comeback! One thing is for sure, The Great Buy Back is gonna be a reality check for EVERYONE in this space. Mark My Words! You think youve seen FOMO? You haven't seen anything yet...

2.0 is gonna fix that. I admit the fees are stupid right now but once 2.0 comes out, its gonna fix the issue with outrageous gas fees

Just think. You could spend a few billion dollars to buy half of ETH and wait for the ability to stake it and PoS 51% your way to taking the entire DeFi market cap, which you could cash out for ... maybe 100s of millions of dollars. The price is fine where it is until actually holding ETH starts resulting in 5-10% returns and the price just climbs in a stable channel.

Tell me with a straight face the total supply

That’s the circulating supply.
Let’s try again, what is the total maximum supply of Ethereum tokens that could ever exist?

It's overvalued because it's becoming impossible to use at this price.

"The supply of ether is only infinite given infinite time. Ethereum issues a fixed amount of ether per year. Bitcoin is still issuing coins as well.

The supply of ether increases by 22% in the first year. By comparison, Bitcoin in its second year issued as many coins as in the first year, for inflation of 100%. In year four, it issued as many coins as in each of the first three years, for inflation of 33% with a $1B market cap.

Bitcoin has reward halving, and ether doesn't, so Bitcoin's inflation finally drops below ether's."

Everything is overvalued to some degree in this economy. Gold. Stocks. Dollars. The main driver of the price of an asset is not "the real value" of anything but rather the amount of emotional speculation around it. There is so much irrational exuberance in the crypto sphere it should lead you to believe theres the potential for it to be very overvalued regardless of whatever the fundamentals are

>The supply of ether is only infinite given infinite time
The supply of USD is only infinite given infinite time
>Ethereum issues a fixed amount of ether per year
No this changes. It's also going to issue ether rewards in the POW chain and ether rewards on the POS chain for years when POS starts. That's not fixed
> The supply of ether increases by 22% in the first year
So if Satoshi had kept ~15Million BTC to himself and released ~3 million next year like ETH it would have been better? No everyone would have called him a greedy scammer
> Bitcoin's inflation finally drops below ether's
BTC inflation will always be below ETH

Ethereum unlimited supply, that refutes your statement OP. It’s extremely overvalued.

Not only are the fee's out of control right now, you can't even use it unless you literally do not care at all about money. The entire reason it exists and it barely works. Fantastic, maybe when eth 2.0 comes closer to coming out it makes sense also this: >>22103353

The same as Bitcoin: Whatever the community wants it to be at any given time.

Bitcoin doesn't have a limit to its supply any more than any other crypto. They can all be forked and the majority could go to the new fork. Nothing is permanent.

Why do people personify coins as if they're just going to get up and choose to dump or moon. Markets react to people's actions... They don't just start pumping because they feel like it that day
