This is true. When I first started messing around with Crypto and Uniswap I lost $200 from FEES moving things around. My transactions got stuck cuz of low gas prices and I had to do a work around just to cancel the transaction cuz it wasn't going to process anytime soon.

The stress was fucking incredible I'm never using Uniswap again I don't care if I miss out on some golden 10 million dollar investment.

If technology is this stressful and I was able to lose $200 just cuz of fees trying to figure everything out then it isn't even CLOSE to ready to become mainstream.

I did manage to figure everything out finally but I'm not touching it again.

Worse is gas prices keep going up and up. You have to literally use a wallet that lets you bid your gas and research what price you should bid to prevent your transaction from not being mined.

Then there's the gas limit which you gotta figure out or your transaction will just 'fail'.

I'm not saying XRP is the solution (It might be but there's a lot of conspiracy theories going on around it that worry me), but in the current state of things ETH and BTC are not even close to becoming the mainstream currency.
