no, all the big boys can get in with no impact on price on aave. there is currently 13m link available for looting. they will keep borrowing and then selling some to make number go down. it's over until you can get the twitter degens to take their link tokens out of that pile

number of node operators doesn't mean much without staking. I get that its good for the eco system, but until the public is participating in data delivery, it means jack shit for the price.

Not to mention staking is still just in the research phase, I doubt we see it go live on mainnet by eoy 2021

we're still not even sure if SWIFT GPI LINK = chainlink

yes yes im familiar with the breadcrumbs, but i'd rather remain cautiously optimistic since everything about swift moves at a snails pace.
if anything swift related is announced this year we're obviously going above $100, its just not set in stone.

Also, I can't find any recent news about a swift gpi link deadline in November

Doubling nodes means t sigs will be deployed otherwise there's not much benefit unless they expect a rise in usage. Both of which are bullish

stfu newfag, I know all the material. I watched the hour ling presentation by corda, I know gpi link is "manifested as an oracle service". I know sergeys ties to swift dating back to 2016. It is obvious they are working together, but at the end of the day legacy systems are fucking slow as shit and take unreasonably long times to adopt new systems.

See pic related.
Corda settler (a blockchain) sends API through GPI Link to be converted to the swift messaging format (ISO 20022). It connects their blockchain of choice with their bank messaging formats and vice versa, which is literally what SmartContract's proof of concept for SWIFT was all about.
These vids are even more proof:

The fact that the two prime Chainlink-related guys at Oracle (Fernando & Ian) explicitly say they have no control over the Chainlink integration is as bullish as it gets.
It means the integration was ordered by yet another higher-up.

That said, it's not happening this quarter, and probably not this year. I can guarantee you right now.
