Fucking faggot middle managers clawing and scratching to justify their own shit jobs. Top kek. I've been working from home for about a decade now and whenever I was/have been questioned as to why I was set to "Away" for the majority of the day or why my "Last login was more than 24h ago" I would always answer with "You know my e-mail address and my phone number. You know how to reach me." and "Wait a second, what are you trying to say? Are you making assumptions here?" The issue was then left alone and wasn't pressed until a brand new, freshly minted, faggot middle manager came around and repeated the cycle.

Most people aren't used to standing up for themselves and most managers don't expect you to. I had an old boomer tell me "Well anon, you're the first employee I've had who actually stood their ground and made a good case for themselves. Your number is still ###-###-#####, right?"

>All these retards actually moving their mouse
I wrote a tiny application which hooks User32.dll and calls SetCursorPos. It's scriptable with cli arguments. Right now I have it set to run on login with the args:
/rand=1 /p=600000 /r=-1
So it will move the mouse in a random direction by one pixel every ten minutes, forever. That's enough to keep Teams from going to Away status.
I wrote this application on company time, lmao. I don't even know if anyone gives a fuck that I sit in front of my laptop on my phone for at least a few hours a day, but now nobody can tell.
>Why didn't you use AHK or [my favorite mouse wiggler]?
Because those can be found trivially with a scan of installed and runnings applications. Databases of executable names, assembly metadata, and binary hash exist for mouse wigglers specifically so companies can catch people who are using them. Nothing is going to catch C:\ProgramFiles\Google\Update\GoogleUpdateCore.exe
