What's up monero senpai?
Adoption continues to increase on the dark net, and we are flirting with an all time high transaction total today. In other news, a new open source desktop called Feather is in the works, which should bring more complicated features to a beginner friendly wallet, such as multisig. Lastly, CLSAG is slated for a October release, which will improve transaction size by 25%!
If you are a monero noob, feel free to ask questions and an anon will help you out.

>i wouldn't get into monero expecting to "make it"
yeah and generally we make fun of moonboys who dream about lambos. It's very possible Monero's value is going to increase considerably, but at the same time, slow and steady growth is more important for long term success.

>> No.22062210

aren’t most of these just spammy mini txns from casinos like minko?

>> No.22062377

>>22062210
Minko was the cause of the massive spike in May 2019. I.t also was used as a fundraiser tool which incentivized monero holders to contribute
The long term growth that has taken place in 2020 is from White House Market, which is becoming the largest dark net marketplace. White house primarily uses Monero as a cryptocurrency.

If they could trace it, they wouldn't have revealed the information.
If they'd create a tool that'd be used by the government, which could be used for counter terrorism and homeland surveillance, they would not have revealed it. In fact, the company would've been under tight gag order. Just like all of big tech.
It's basically them saying: "Please don't use Monero!"

>>22063029.
lol crypto journalism is such clickbait trash.
There is absolutely no proof that the Department of Homeland Security can "now track" Monero. That is complete garbage.
CipherTrace, which was hired by the government, has claimed that they have some means of tracing Monero. And surprise surprise, there is no provided evidence.
If you use Monero, all you have to keep in mind is to remove your monero off of an exchange to a private wallet. Once you do that, any metadeta leakages are out of the control of kyc exchanges who may be targeting you.

they haven't actually released anything.
whatever they have is probably related to timing analysis or things that would require a significant amount of external information. These are already known. It's why its recommended to pull your Monero off of an exchange before using it.
Monero's vulnerabilities are covered in a youtube series called "breaking monero". I highly recommend checking it out if you are interested in these sorts of things. I would be shocked if this company has figured out something that isn't already understood by the crypto community.

Monero keeps on chugging along, regardless of delistings or supposed chain analysis.

In non shitpost news, empire going down is extremely bullish. I feel the same about some exchanges delisting XMR. The Institution fears the Agorist.
