You can either pool in Uniswap by adding an equal amount of XXM & Eth, or you can pool in Balancer by adding one of the 4 tokens for simplicity.
Pooling in either will give you back a percentage of every single trade that's made. Think of the way Coinbase, Binance, etc. take fees on everything -
Here, it's YOU getting those fees.
Pooling in Balancer will also give you a weekly bonus in the form of BAL tokens, which can then be traded for more XMM/ETH or whatever you like.
Personally, with Statera, i like to sell my weekly BAL tokens for Eth and then re-pool that. It's a fantastic way of earning free money whilst making the ecosystem stronger all the time.
The majority of people still don't understand all this, but that will come with time and education.

Pooling at what you think is the 'high' is much better. This way, you'll lock in your gains.
If you hold at 10c and it falls to 5c, your XMM is 50% down
If you pool at 10c and it falls to 5c, your XMM is only 12.5% down, because its only quarter of the pool.
