Yeah been there, I had a solid month off overseas snowboarding and it fixed me right up. Finished a rough project working crazy hours away from home and was so fucked by the end I could barely get out of bed. Make sure you turn off the phone and emails and leave that shit far away. Alternatively go on a surf trip somewhere similar effect

if youre in america and dont get annual PTO, you have the freedom to go to your boss and ask for it. the less agreeable you are the more youre able to get from them. (you better be a valuable asset to the company though, you cant negotiate if you have no leverage)
