The line begins at 350K, but 700K I'd feel competent in diversifying my funds in real-estate/dividend stocks/roth IRA/etc. to never feel worried ever again. It depends on if you're single or not, what your age is, etc. At 20 years old 50K will grow into much more than opposed to being 60 years old.
