I’ve been wanting to put some fresh fiat (10k$) into crypto. These are the alt coin candidates I consider to be interesting from doing some research and gauging sentiment online.

What’s your opinion? Would you diversify more or go all in on one coin?

>XRP
Don’t touch with a 10 foot poll. 2/10

>LINK
Sure to keep going up in the next 2-3 years. Long term gains. 9/10

>AMPL
Could bounce back up, i’m not confident. Ship has sailed. 3.5/10

>OCEAN
Coinbase listing soon. Will pump in next 3 months. 8/10

>SBREE
Main net launch soon. Some big whales, but high short term potential. 8/10

>YFV
The riskiest of the bunch imo, but has thw most upside potential. Binance listing is possible and rumored. 8.5/10

OP I'm going to murder you. Are you a millionaire and I don't know? You're buying bluechips which already pumped from their bottoms.
With 10k you should be putting 1k in an early early shitcoin like SPIDR or YFFI so you can own 5% of the supply and sell the top.
Hell a puny 1k barely gives you 10k if the coin 10xs, put at least 3k for a 30k. If it's on Uniswap you can just add liquidity yourself to cash out.

I kind of mostly agree with this guy but for different reasons. I'd recommend:

>Hex
This is the future of cryptocurrency because it understands exactly what cryptocurrency is in 2020. It's DeFi and it's revolutionary meta. There's more than meets the eye here. There is an "ah-ha" moment that you'll get after spending a few hours researching the philosophy behind it and the history of crypto (Richard Heart's YouTube debates are invaluable). This is going to be a top 10 coin without the slightest doubt and possibly further. It's a crypto CD. It's the most transparent and honest project ever designed. It popularized DeFi. It made Uniswap. It's huge.

>SXP
Relatively small market cap gem being backed by Binance which is the largest crypto exchange (bank) in the world. Staking is the future and the staking rewards look great. Icing on the cake are the cards that offer relatively great interest compared to traditional credit cards.

>STAKE
I was late on this but I believe we're still early. Relatively small market cap. Vitalik has espoused it and it's a no-nonsense project that relies less on hype than it does function. With ETH fees hitting critical mass and with ETH 2.0 most likely years away, there will be a real and non-imaginary market for alternative chains such as this one.

kinda hijacking this thread but I was in a similar spot and bought pretty equal stacks of PNK, RSR and RNDR. Also bought small stacks of WAIF and CHOP for a chance at meme magic.

I want to keep accumulating more, but I cant help shake the feeling that I made a big mistake and am not gonna make it.

I really like STAKE, i have to do more research on SXP. Hex is where staking started and what made defi blow up, but i think is is a case where first mover advantage isn’t in its favor. You buy hex with eth, and then Richard buys more hex with that eth. I don’t think it’s going up anymore

well its at $0.31 right now. I think the rndr credit that artists use to buy services is pegged to $0.25, but the token is separate from that. The dev said in an AMA that he can see the token going above $0.25 in the future

10k is not that much, I would rather put it into some small caps to have a better upside. Look into AKRO, it has great potential.

You really have to focus on the code itself which is brilliant and simple (a good combination). Simple albeit written with a punishing nuance into the game theory. Good code wins in the end. A crypto CD that protects itself in every way possible against the almighty crashes is such a no brainer and such a boon for the space (people sell, returns go up - balance). As far as the wash trading accusations, many projects have been accused of it *cough EOS* and it would take a professional audit to prove it. Also, it's a little hypocritical to think that crypto founders are these humble and poor artists just doing it for the technology. Every crypto founder of a successful project is stupidly rich. There are SEC laws which come into play as well which prevent particular disclosures. RH is very open on these subjects as long as you are willing to listen to do the research.

I'll be the first to admit I only understand a fraction of some of these defi coins that pay out interest and farm in all sorts of complex ways. It's important to remember that money doesn't just fall from the sky, it has to come from somewhere. As of now, the money is all coming from a huge influx of new investors, but will it last? Massive spikes and returns typically have a second chapter. There isn't a token that can simply make insane returns ad infinitum.
