depends on if its sepa, wire or swift

sepa is pretty quick, you can often have within days

i think kraken's sepa transfers are fastest because they use some kind of "transfer to friends instant transaction" kind of thing, so you can actually have your cash within a day

wire takes a week or something

dont know about swift tho, i guess its the same

When Ether was around $10 and after DAO got emptied it was widely regarded as a shitcoin, even a scamcoin by some. A ton of empty promises and an architecture that is designed to corrode and collapse under its own weight.

If someone had told me 3 months ago $150 Ether is cheap I would have laughed my ass off. Anyway, my opinion is based on the (shitty) technical aspects, but the market clearly works on emotion.

And lastly, a fucking 2000% increase over 3 months without anything real to back it up was never going to be sustainable. Early adopters and smart money are simply dumping on the greedy idiots and average joes.

Thought about that, but I'm already assuming the fed will think a BTC/alt pairing is like-kind (which is probably true depending how much I drop on a CPA....), banking on USDT not being treated as fiat is risky imo.

>> No.2202599

Using Coinbase as an example, you can attach your credit card/debit card to an account for instant buying, but there's high fees associated with that and a lower limit on how much you can spend weekly. Using a bank account takes about a week to go through, but much lower fees. Also you need to have your identity validated on all of the exchanges before you do anything so the sooner you do that the better

I know this is by no means a rule of thumb but the only money I lost since I started with the exchanges was because I didn't hold when shit turned red. Every single coin I made a loss took a dive to the earth's very core, I sold to cut my loses and not a week later it recovered some times even twice the price I actually sold it.
Buy low, sell high. Keep it steady when the storm hits and do not put all your eggs in one basket. You'll be mostly fine.
Also never ever drink the lambo koolaid, you will get your ass torn apart by a thousand niggers if you go chasing that pipe dream.
