Well the criticisms of the smart con in terms of delivery are legit regardless. Too much time was spent on tech issues and casual chatter.
Too much time was spent talking about issues instead of having a united vision like what Wolpert is presenting and John doesn't speculate he just makes it boring and standard and used by everyone.
Sergey probably spends too much time here and has been influenced by the memes. From a marketing standpoint this might be good but not from a leader in the field who was supposed to dazzle us and we make memes in return.
