What hinders me as a Kleros Juror to just vote utter bullshit?

>> No.21996806

>>21996731
I'm going to assume they eventually will have jurors submit identification and credentials, and tie your reputation to incentivize voting. Also why would you want to vote like an utter retard, if the other jurors don't vote like a retard you lose PNK and ETH etc.

>> No.21996884

>>21996806
Okay now let’s assume that, everyone is serious about a case. Why shouldn’t people vote for the most probable outcome, even if it’s not a just one? Doesn’t general consensus dictate a cases outcome instead of proper judgement?

Sir.....

Yes, but that's arguably a problem with conventional jury systems anyway. Similarly, there is no defense against bogus or one sided evidence, baring human judgement or appeals.

>> No.21997206

>>21997089
From how I understood Kleros, you have a Kleros case where people can vote on it, and lose Kleros if they lost the case and gain Kleros if they won the case. In a conventional Jury System the judge is Not rewarded for the right outcome. He just judges to his best ability.

>> No.21997237

>>21996884
How do you know the most probable outcome?
It would assume it would be the most "just" one but yes any system can be subverted. I'm not sure if Kleros has clarified a checks and balances type system. But I can see this shit being implemented by tech companies so I won't worry about the system, think about how fucking legal systems are in general.

The fact that you lose your stake if you don't vote with the majority. Also, in the future, they plan to add in penalties for trustlessly revealing your vote. As in, you could theoretically find the other jurors and tell them how to vote, but doing so would give them the opportunity to steal your stake by reporting you.

Also this
>there is no defense against bogus or one sided evidence, baring human judgement or appeals.
If you appeal over a poor verdict how many sociopaths/Scarecrows from The Dark Knight Rises will own this token in reality that you get fucked repeatedly.

Aren’t they rewarded with eth (and kleros) if they voted successfully? A judge gets a fixed salary his judgement doesn’t affect his pay (assuming he is not being bribed)

>> No.21997464

Yeah that's the reward PNK and ETH.

I cannot really think of a great example for a Kleros sie case, but let’s assume a black protester damages in these times a statue of a person being involved in slavery. My personal opinion and I think the law would declare the person guilty of vandalism. Maybe some SJWs (and that might be general consensus) rather decide to side with the black dude and support the damaging of the statue.
I know this might not be the best example but I couldn’t think of anything better

Justice!? What do the plebs know of JUSTICE!? It is not a concept of the mob, it is a concept of your betters! Those who have honed themselves against the wheel of time, against the grinding weimar of current year!
A jury hold no power without the man with a gun, and that man ... sits comfortably over somewhere probably... but he doesn't listen to you!

Communists are not people, the law only holds them in contempt as all laws are laws of nature, and to nature, communism is an abomination.

You are not getting bribed for this. I just asked if you may be able to cheat the reward system, by calculating best possible vote result (which was argument could then just be the result of truth or my idea, maybe general consensus which might not actually be true at all).

Imagine an evil company like Google using this shit to truly penalize users.
Imagine you hire Pajeet using a smart contract to make a UI/UX for your shit app and he fails to deliver.
