Probably because with implementation of CLP (continuous liquidity pools) there's minimal risk of impermanent loss... Which is huge for any Link Marine who wants to keep full exposure to LINK and also use it as a revenue generating idle asset. A lot of linkies won't risk LPing or staking their LINK because the chance a volatile price movement would cause a decrease in their position.

The cherry on top in my opinion is the reduced gas fees for trades, of which will be most popular LINK/X pairs.
