Yesterday, I read an article saying NASA has funded 2 blockchain based companies in the US.
On a previous presentation by Chainlink, Sergey used the NASA logo as an example of using chainlink for off-chain data.
What if this is Chainlink? Why would he otherwise use the NASA logo?

It never says what the blockchain companies are but all of a sudden Sergey popped in a NASA logo to one of his slides. Chainlink/SmartContract is USA based.

I know what you were thinking. The ICO laws in 2017 were very unclear and most likely they wouldn't have been allowed to run the ICO from the US as jurisdiction for the ICO which is why they formed a shell company in the Cayman. He most likely hired a local lawyer ion the US to help him set it up. Plenty of choices for that as it's a relatively common service for flexibility.
Anyone with more than 2 brain cells should already know this.

SmartContract operates from San Francisco (California) and this is their main jurisdiction.
