Tesla goes on fire, or most any Li-ion packs this size tbf, only thing you can do is let them burn out. Which can take a while. Gasoline is maybe more immediately 'flammable' but it has the advantage that it just explodes or burns out quick. Theres reason they don't let you on airplanes with Li-ions bigger than laptop batteries. Really good reasons

let me explain , Small to mid size hedge funds are leaning on shorting tesla as well as a huge amount of retail traders are short tesla , if you look at the option chain of tesla you can clearly see that tesla puts have ginormous volume almost daily and hence Market makers and big hedge funds and Investment banks who are making shit ton of money selling those puts aren't letting it drop .

we can have inflation and a stock market crash at the same time. let's say inflation goes up to 10% a year from the current 4%, but stocks are up 60% (just throwing out examples). you can have a 50% retrace at the same time while people move into things like gold.
