In the coming decades there will be millions of people holding billions in crypto wallets worrying how to transfer to family on death. Kleros seems perfect for this.

Same. I'm an estates lawyer myself and I think that's a really interesting idea for estate planning. The only thing I'm concerned about is how universal it could be given the variance of local laws regarding estates. I assume tax authorities would be kind of leery about it too given you could dump all your assets into crypto at 90 and have them transfer directly to a beneficiary without going through the estate process (though you can already do that by, you know, gifting outright).

I also haven't given it a lot of thought and am just enamored of the general idea for the time being. It seems like a valuable estate planning mechanism.

I wouldn't make it depend on the will, I would optimally say it should be set up to function independently of a will, like a life insurance payment or a beneficiary designation.
