If you're watching the Lition Maker explorer, you can clearly see that they are testing both adding nodes and making certain nodes offline randomly to see if the consensus correctly handles validating blocks.

Testing is going really well and I'm optimistic that Mainnet will launch by the end of October after more testing with community nodes.

Ftp is correct. The fact that they can put random nodes offline and it still works means the consensus issue has been fixed (at least internally, which we should've already expected). Exactly what I'm talking about. It is not going to fall apart at any moment. People haven't gotten this yet but they've already fixed it. The reason for the delays is because they've been doing a stupid amount of testing. You think they're going to be launching this in a month or so and they haven't found a robust solution yet? It's a done deal. SAP and Microsoft wouldn't partner with something that could fall apart at any moment. SAP is relying Lition for its blockchain projects. Ignore Mike. It's because on the consensus issue which has now been fixed and the solution will launch in Q3. Once that happens the amount of utility that will be gained from the energy business alone will be very significant. We will also be getting more announcements from SAP around this time. We don't know why it is so criminally underrated but we're not complaining. The next 3 months will be amazing.

them selling at 2c? a company like advisum with 1 billion$ investment worrying about a 1 million max investment going down and they decide to sell at 2c while they bought shition at 7c pre ico price

nah dude you can't be serious and believe that shit, even brainlet like you won't sell at that price and just write it as lost money.
advisum is the one faking everything from ico buyers to washtrading
in return they got a lot of free tokens, that's why they gonna sell at any price, it doesn't matter to them
and if you take into consideration seeing them dumping 4 millions tokens of early investors before mainnet launch, in a speculative asset "buy the rumor sell the news" will always be truth and you don't need to teach that to a big investment company, so they have inside information's that the mainnet will get delayed again cuz they still didn't fix the problem, and everyone saw today the testnet getting stuck for hours just after 2 hours of them adding only one new external node, they decided to shut down the whole website to stop any "FUD" from spreading while they continue dumping what left from their free shit

oh i forgot to screenshot the some old team wallet putting high bids as soon as this early investor sent his tokens today, so the same person or entity is controlling and managing the ecosystem and early investors tokens sells, they also doing the same shit, converting everything to stable coins of some defi shit, do you also gonna tell me all this investors suddenly decided to do the same investment plan like a hive mind? you can't be serious buddy, i will post some old wallet from april-may (team selling) and the new wallets from august (early investors) and you will see them having the same patterns in all the addresses, if you take 1 million address to different individuals and compare them to each other you will never see 2 address buying and selling the same thing with the same pattern without being those address belong to the same person

You may be able to fool the average /biz/ retard by just spamming them with a bunch of links but none of what you have provided recently is proof of your claims.

Do you have any proof that they sold at 2c? Also what would be wrong if they did sell at 2c? Don't play your silly game where you answer the second question and ignore the first. Next, do you have any proof that Advisium has sold anything? Do you have proof that the ICO buyers are fake? Do you seriously expect any of us to take you seriously if you can't even answer these basic questions? You seem to equate any selling at all with Lition being a scam. Lition have burned significantly more tokens than they have sold. They have also given significantly more ecosystem tokens to stakers than they have sold, but all of this is irrelevant to you. If you can't offer shred of evidence for any of your claims then please just fuck off.

As much as i understand it this would mean that if you need a big loan like 20 million for an appartment complex, multiple bank offices can give you a loan. Say 20 offices each giving you 1 million.
Now you need to pay these loans back off course which means 20 txs per month. The lition dapp will streamline this so it seems for the consumer as if they only have 1 loan and 1 payment to make.

It will depend on the sidechain for sure, but after a bit of time I am sure rewards will level about between them. Less stakers on the syndicated loan sidechain, for instance, would lead to higher rewards in that chain - node operators will notice this and move around accordingly. As far as I know the upcoming Ethereum staking is projected to net you about 7% per year.
That said, you should stake your litties while we're still in genesis phase and the staking returns are high.

Original anon here. Say i staked my way up to a Trust Node (50,000 LIT) and LIT rises to a valuation of $10, how would staking become a viable model? Like the previous anon said, i would be making $3,650/yr whilst sitting on a bag of LIT worth $500,000.

Regardless if i decided to hold for LIT to see if it rises in value or not, by this point in time how will staking be a selling point for new investors given the huge price disparities? Surely the value proposition of LIT will evolve into every other coin on the market, a tradable asset, opposed to an investment to make a liveable passive income from.

If you dont make any money staking, less people will stake. Thus the rewards will go up.
Endgame, staking crypto will be the equivalent of buying dividend shares. If youre not satisfied with the amount you get a year you switch to another blockchain, and I expect the rewards for the successful ones to be around 5%

Look, nobody knows what the staking returns could be in the long term, we're all just speculating at this point. It all depends on adoption and the number of daily transactions.
In my opinion 5% yearly is a reasonable and conservative estimate.
So if LIT really goes to $10 and a trust node becomes worth half a million (which nobody knows if it will), you could expect a $25k yearly return from staking.

Let’s not forget the LPS and trust node rewards multipliers, though - that certainly makes things more complicated.

Thanks for taking the time to reply. Free money is free money, i have absolutely no problem with that and staking is probably what got most people into the project in the first place, opposed to the fundamentals. A 5% return would be decent. Would be $25,000/yr using our previous scenario which is good money, especially when sitting on a $500,000 asset. Especially when you factor in the value of LIT can surpass $10 given the endless blockchain adoption it can allow within the EU

Look price vs staking rewards is like an equation.
p = x times s
The only thing that will be known is the staking rewards (s). This will be set by the ecosystem. In response, the market will set the price (p), which will be a multiple (x) of the staking rewards. This multiple will be high in a bull market and low in a bear market. It will probably also tend to be high in the starting phase of the project and trend lower as the system reaches maturity.
Right now the multiple is artificially set by the team to be 5 (or lower if you stake with a higher multiplier). This is the same as an ROI of 20%. This is very unlikely to continue under free market conditions. As adoption increases and staking rewards for the whole system increases in dollar terms, the price of the token will simply get bid up far beyond a multiple of 5 as people rush in to take advantage of the high staking rewards. It will reach an equilibrium at some point. We can speculate what equilibrium that will be. If we take price to earning ratios of stocks as an analogy we can see a multiple of well over a hundred for a high growth ecosystem, this would mean the ROI would be lower than 1% per year.

I agree. We should also wait to have something to talk about before baking another one.
The Coldfusion video was a great opportunity for this one, now let's wait what comes next.

How do you factor the trust node 2x multiplier into this? Will that weigh down rewards for standard nodes?
