You're already ready for options trading. Buy SPY calls on dips. That's it.

Learn to chart and you can throw $500 at something that's oversold(use Bollinger bands, RSI, and trend lines), and wait for it to jump. Buy calls that are either ITM(In the money) or ATM(at the money), so theta doesn't destroy you, and have an alert set for the underlying. If it reaches a certain price(like it goes below trend), then sell and move on.

It takes some time to learn, but it's worth it
