Are trades a meme?

I'm 18 years old and in my last year of high school, trying to figure out what I want to do with my future. The way I see it, and please correct me if I'm missing something or have it wrong, I have 3 options:

1) University (STEM degree)
Pros: High wage job after, cushy, respected
Cons: Will have to take on a not insignificant amount of (((debt))) (I slacked off in high school and my grades aren't enough for a scholarship), also have to be around libshits for 4 years

2) Join the military
Pros: If I pick the right MOS it could translate well into the civilian world/get me a security clearance. GI Bill
Cons: Spending your early 20s around a bunch of blacks and mexicans fighting for israel

3) Go to a trade

I don't know much about the trades though. What trade would be best to get into? Electrician or something?
And aren't mexicans and other spics flooding the country and taking those jobs because they work for next to nothing? What trade would avoid t hat?

Can anyone help me out?

Crippling debt, saturated job market
>military
Dangerous, deploy to protect USD
>trades
Licensing, work years for no pay

What you want to do is first minimize risk. If the home situation is healthy, live with your folks awhile. Work a few years in manual labor, local job doing respectable work for honest pay. Meanwhile research and learn finance, economics, geopolitics. Learn about this world and where you stand. Determine how you wish your future to unfold. Save everything until you have an investment plan which will get you there

out of your three options I would go military because you get the added bonus of getting ripped. join the air force or national guard, and there are incredible job opportunities for veterans in the trades. do anything but college, it's a huge waste of time.

there's the forth option of doing a coding certificate class and trying to start a career that way, it's new but I've heard good things

STEM is still your best bet. Get into engineering if you can and land yourself a cushy government job. It might not pay as well as private sector work, but private sector jobs are extremely competitive.

To tell you the truth, if you are a young (no connections or experience) White (privileged) male (oppressor), you are going to have a bitch of a time no matter what route you choose.

Definitely stay out of the military. It's been a progressive shithole for years and, given its top-down nature, allows for very, very little negotiation.

Trades are already "minority"-city and will be more so in the future. If you don't mind working with mexicans (also be prepared to deal with lazy blacks) and are reasonably in shape and can tolerate temperature extremes and sleep loss, then trades might be for you. Remember to take care of yourself if you want to have a functioning body by the time you're 40. Trades will be hard on your body no matter what.

IT support and basic-bitch tech jobs are filled by mostly poos who work for pennies on the dollar. So stick with engineering, but remember, if you're White, you'll still get the shit end of the stick.

you would probably want to start with the goal of owning your own construction company in mind, look up how to be a contractor and work backwards, then from there you can either run a spic style operation, or go a more professional route, all the big companies and wealthy people want a proper business to come in, not pedro and his band of merry men. Alot of it is also common sense also. I am a property developer, here is the problem I find with trades where I am now in UK, they think a 'good' tradesmen is the best at doing the actual work like fusing shit together etc, but the real good tradesmen are not necessarily the ones with good hands etc, but the ones who understand what I want, eg the say hmm you wont want a plug there because the bed will go there, etc,

You're as free now as you'll ever be. It may not be apparent but resigning yourself to obligation, whether debt, military, girlfriend, etc. is counterproductive. Invest 100% of your time and energy in yourself, between now and 30yo, to open the greatest range of possibilities

don't listen to the other tard wrangler talking shit about STEM while he's a gender studies major. Even in the US you'll land a job after a STEM degree if you're not in the bottom percentiles.

Obviously avoid Eastern Europe. Maybe Southern Europe too. The rest is absolute masterrace top tier and ranks the highest in terms of education (and quality of living). More than enough top tier Unis offer pure English degrees, otherwise there are endless courses in English as well, no matter the country you're in.

It's the absolute best move one can make and I wished I had done it too. It's a lot of research and bureaucracy but it will put you so far ahead in life it's not even funny.

If you're smart, you can even make it into FAANGs without the usual Ivy league route. However, since you are on /biz/ that scenario is highly unlikely.

Any country. Though at least in eastern europe or baltic countries you could probably study for like 2k/yr, and there are no niggers. Though it's worse than big western european universities but it's way easier to get a diploma and is cheaper.

Get a trade
A steel trade: welder, metal fab, pipefitter etc.
I work 8hrs a day and make 90k a year.
Paid vacay, benefits, pension.

After you pay for foundation course. Usually the cost of one semester in uni, you get paid as an apprentice. Once fully ticketed your laughing

I got the best job of my career during the pandemic kek, everyone i know lost theirs. And if you still want to uni, be an engineer. You would be the BEST engineer ever if you had a trade too. Trade would pay for school and then some too.

You only fuck yourself up if you work like a dog for the company. Dont lift with your back and get in a union and trades are the best.

you know what the difference between playing the lottery and going to university is?
the lottery is at least upfront to you about your chances of winning.
