Just get on prozac, or if you're a non-wagie without healthcare, look into lithium, maybe, I'm not a medical professional and you should research as much as possible, I just weave baskets, anon.

exposure is the only cure to anxiety. go to the mall and talk to at least one salesman 3 times a week. have them explain/describe an item to you, then say no thanks, do a 360, and walk away. go to the bathroom and wait until another person uses a urinal, then go use the one next to them.
do this for 3 months and you'll never have anxiety again.
>t. used this exact method with a group of other autists in therapy

Phenibut without a doubt. And tianeptine.
Careful though they both are very addictive and tolerance will build.
Phenibut has been a life changer for me from a quiet calm to god mode depending on dosage.

>> No.21808140

Diazepam changed my professional life. I could not present or go to meetings without mental blanks or worse (shaking etc)
Since I started taking Valium Intermittently as required I’ve been crushing it (presentations to 100+ people, would never have DREAMED it possible 18 months ago). Just don’t get addicted.

>> No.21808218

Modafinil, Kratom, phenibut and the like are all bad news anon. Get healthy, eat clean, take high-dose Omega-3s, magnesium, and low-dose 5-HTP (50mg a day) to get your brain right. 2-300mg Theanine and/or a strong lemon balm extract are the best and only sedatives with no bad side-effects.

>> No.21809097

i tried low dosage phenibut (100mg) and it was absolutely amazing but man the rebound anxiety the next few days were not worth it. I stopped after that.

Does anyone know how to help DPDR? It's been a year that I've had DPDR, Visual snow and other neurological issues. I feel like I'm tripping and having a panic attack 24/7. Everything looks and sounds warped.

My counselor told me this, it probably won't help, but it actually might
>breathe in 4 seconds, park the breath behind your belly button
>hold the breath for 2 seconds
>release the breath over 8 seconds, with a sort of "wooshing" sound, bringing your belly to your spine

This will calm down your vegus nerve and take a bit of the cortisol away

This is the only good advice ITT OP. Rest is dogshit. Dudes actually telling him to go on SSRIs when 5htp and exercise/diet will do wonders. I take higher dosages of 5htp (100-150mg) but I cycle off it every 2 weeks. Probably objectively worse way to take it, but it works for me.

Yes if you are low energy and really really need something to amp you up and focus just start cycling an hgh precursor and working out. Being a methed out skelly will do you no good.

The positive effects of fish oil are greatly overstated in general over just eating fish. You dont need to have some super complex routine. 5htp, magnesium, vitamin c, maybe nacient iodine. As someone who has struggled with major depression from like 5 years old or so, a little bit of exercise (even just like 20 pushups a day if you arent doing anything will be amazing), changing my diet to include less bread, no soda and junk food, meat, lots of salads and broccoli and shit will do a lot to make you more mentally stable and calm. I'd say all these years later I'm still depressed, but its not like I can't leave my bed like it used to be. I prefer what I have now to SSRIs any day. I am stable, content, and my ambition and creativity is intact, though I may not be a "happy" person.

>> No.21810979

Will be mostly echoing other anons, but I would suggest L-theanine, ashwaghanda, magnesium glycinate (low magnesium can lead to anxiety, glycine antagonizes norepinephrine release), fish oil (if that counts as a "nootropic"), in addition to exercise, exposure (like the mall salesman therapeutics anon suggested), and cognitive behavioral therapy/mental practice
As for:
>>21807587
try Coq10 (ubiquinol) for methylation, also N-acetylcysteine and L-Carnitine (all may ameliorate neurochemical deficits associated with autism)

>> No.21811132

>>21810023
Anon, be very careful. There was a study which demonstrated that astaxanthin supplementation massively inhibited 5AR. This could lead to issues similar to those found in post-finasteride syndrome. If you've been using for a while without any issues, there's less to worry about, but you should at least be aware that you are actively inhibiting DHT production by a huge margin (which may or may not be desirable, depending on what you want).

super easy to make it an everyday habit as it’s relaxing, very slightly inebriating but won’t fuck you up. I did it daily for a year, never had withdrawal or issues. i have a buddy that gets the cold sweats and opiate reminiscent wd symptoms though. and yes, it will kill your sex drive.
unrelated, and it’s a drug ans not necessarily a nootropic, but has anyone ever tried phenmetrazine here? the kind that feels like a gunshot up the nose but you feeling like you’re rolling face on molly and coked up for 4 hours, before a not-so-bad comedown? i tried it in college from my buddy in high school who was a chemist and well sourced but he died from a fentanyl related OD
