Ive been slowly sorting through a 30 pound container of pennies i got for free, seems to be about 1/3 pre 1982 copper pennies. I only do it every once and a while with a podcast on, because even receiving them for free, its not really worth my time to manually sort pennies. its doable but the juries out on if it will break even, two different companies have tested deep (as in 2miles and deeper) mining robots in the waters off PNG. The work has come under fire as its horribly destructive to deep sea life living around mineral smokers and its also come under fire fore being impractical as the machines constantly jam or break down while working and have to be brought back to the surface for repairs. The techs only in its infancy so i am sure we will see changes eventually. Diamond and placer gold miners have been using robot rigs off south africa and even in nome alaska for 5 years now, but thats much shallower water.

>He May Have Tried To Seduce A Mother And Daughter
>In 1757, Franklin moved into an apartment in a London building owned by a widow named Margaret Stevenson. Margaret also lived there with her 18-year-old daughter, Polly. Some historians think Margaret and Franklin may have had an affair over the 15 years he lived under her roof. Others think Franklin may have tried to spark up a romance with Polly as well. He was reportedly fond of Polly, and he kept up a long correspondence with her. In his final years, he even had the widowed Polly move to Philadelphia to be by his side until his death in 1790.

i remember watching a pretty good documentary on the USNavy/NASA Sealab and a few other similar projects.
the end results and consensus were that, underwater operations are:
High risk
High expense
High maintenance
Limited use
Limiteded lifespan
Limited function
can't operate without continual maintenance and monitoring whether its manned or not

official word is, Sealab was ended permanently.
yet we choose to continue ISS ops.
does this literally mean its easier to maintain and operate a manned space station science lab in orbit, than it is to do the same thing underwater here on earth?
it would seem that way

you see what people are paying for junk silver coins today?
in a decade or two they'll be paying that for copper pennies. simple math and logic.
world copper supplies are predicted to be depleted by 2030. that gives us 10 years to stack pennies.
back when silver dimes were still in circulation, most people laughed at the idea that silver dimes would be worth 10 or 20 times face value.

Remember the COMEX market isn't the silver market.

In decades past PM retailers could rely on the COMEX price as there was no reason to believe delivery was in question.

Now that delivery looks like it may be in question you are seeing physical premiums rise to account for the failing COMEX.

Once COMEX defaults the silver price will be only discoverable through ad hoc trading and online auctions (much like how trading cards are valued without an official liquid exchange) physical silver wont be available for less than $100 from any website.

COMEX is the standard by which all physical trade is based, this is because PM dealers can hedge their sales on the futures price and collect a steady profit despite market volatility. This protects the metals dealers from the damage that can come from the silver price dumping hard. While there are other "markets" like the "london fix" these are not meant for PM dealers to hedge like the COMEX is. COMEX has a uncontested monopoly on that very important role in the USA.

When COMEX fails to deliver physical dealers will lose their protection hedge and new physical silver will be impossible to source without COMEX physical delivery. To maintain their businesses they will have no choice but to raise premiums on their current inventory through the moon. (silver will still be bought at those prices)

The ones who think that their old change is value is holding on to 1970's and up change thinking their old change may be valuable. Most of the constitutional silver has either been already raided and spent at the c-store or hoarded by the people that know or sifted by banks when idiots take in grandma's change jar. I just went through my in laws change just before this major jump in price, offered them a fair price at the time for the constitutional silver , $50 for $4.60 in face value of %80 silver. COMEX being the main exchange I know, and they're delivery on product being bought and sold. Thanks basics of this I get. I also know that so much paper trading has manipulated the prices of metal to the point that it's going to cause September 20th (I believe that's the date) to be a real shit show for various reasons.

With that causing premiums to skyrocket, is that premiums only and not spot value of what we're holding? So say buying 10 ounces at spot but the premium being near the spot value, doubling what you pay? I'm trying to wrap my head around this. With the volatility going into shitcoin overdrive the premiums essentially have to be what they are to cover all the massive dildos one way or the other, for the seller (be it online or a local shop) to sustain, understandable at least from their point of view. At that point, there's sure to be some weak hand speculators looking to offload online that could be taken advantage of? You run the risk of getting scammed of course, but it could be a way to circumvent the premium spikes if you strike at the right time? Seems like people looking to either start stacking, or even stacklets and in general fans of the apocalypse, would do well to get on it once COMEX has the paper shills scared out of their minds.

Will have to cool off, right? my personal opinion, if/when Trump wins, and once the riots are quelled, we will see demand go even higher, lile taking a cork out of a champagne bottle. now following that, how important spices are to everyone. any hard times come with shortages and spices will quickly regain their historical status and value as a highly regarded and sought after staple item.
what i propose is, i will grow pepper and other spices, and sell them for a tidy profit or even trade them for a virgin harem.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fRZZt-KOY1A&feature=youtu.be
"President Trump to hold news conference on Sunday to discuss "major therapeutic breakthrough"

Most just expect it to be the authorization of use of plasma from recovered patients (which supposedly was trialed on 70,000 patients but didn't have control groups)
It's definitely not going to hurt though, just probably not a sustainable option to constantly be harvesting blood from survivors of covid to then treat others with active cases
