At first I thought I would want to stay here for a while, but as I go on, I absolutely hate even seeing the base and its effects on the surrounding area, and I don't want to be an english teacher... so I don't really know where to go from here other than back to my family. I have/had a jap gf who did it all, but she reminds me too much of the people on the base. I'm really trying to distance myself from it, but it's really the only way I can be here and not back in my shitty state. IDK.... I'm kinda depressed as of late. I almost hit it off with one of the high schoolers (she's 18), we made out and she even walked to my place to make out but now she's trying to say she's gonna be all busy for the school year. My current relationship is so shitty that I'm obsessing over a girl more than a decade younger than me. I know these little bitches try to get military cock every chance they get, so she must have been one of them. Good riddance, but I haven't been with an 18 year old with a nice body like that for a loooong time... Hows the game in Germany for that?

Germany... yea, Grafenwoehr is the enlisted base, so surrounded by clubs, and german girls are obsessed with black guys to the point it became such a meme. There are entire populations of mulatto kids with single german moms in the Oberpfalz area. So I gtfo to Stuttgart, which is 99% officers. Very tightwad but polite community. I’ve made $50k+ in an office, and now I make $50k+ in a trade (government contract). Each has their drawbacks.

In the office job I was salaried but often worked more than 40 hours. I felt constantly stressed due to the workload, conference calls, deadlines and around the clock emails.

In construction I wake up at 4AM every day and frequently work 50-60 hours per week. But when I’m off work I am *off* — zero stress or worrying about what the next workday will bring.

again, you have no idea what an accountant actually does. accounting isn't a javascript tranny exercise which is largely free of consequence, where every mistake is rectified by a bug patch because you broke the way a button functions in internet explorer 11. let's say you could automate my job (you can't.) imagine what would happen if the financials were materially misstated or issuance was delayed. investor confidence and stock price would plummet, debt covenants would likely be revisited in light of new risk factors, external audit risk tolerance would swing the other way, shit would be absolutely fucked from a financial perspective. there's a reason why i'm personally meeting with executive leadership of a publicly traded company on a quarterly basis, and there's a reason why the CFO of my company has my personal phone number.

The only way I will consider ever "working" again in my life if it's two or three days a week at a low-demand place like a restaurant in a small town.

Think of it like woodworking. Some people have an undying desire to create and programming is a great outlet for that. It's not for everyone

You're an arrogant, ignorant prick.

It's not a dick measuring contest about whose job is harder. It's that you're revealing how little you know about 1. programming and 2. automation. You have a fundamental misunderstanding of the tools you use and the industry that drives their creation. Companies have widely stated that they're more worried about access to talent than capital over the next decade. That wouldn't be the case if automation was a real concern to the industry. It's mostly a consulting buzzword when it pertains to most white-collar labor, pushed to suck money out of stupid schmucks like yourself.

Man you are really delusional. Automation does happen from the bottom up, so you are probably safe for now, but the idea that applying rules to financial statements can't be automated is absurd. Your "discretion" is an internal control weakness that will be automated out eventually in the interest of consistency. Over the past 30 years, teams of auditors testing transactions have been replaced by a couple of people testing systems. That trend is only accelerating.

I teach history so I grade essays and papers which really can’t be automated

Yes the pay is dogshit. I used to work at a public school where the pay was better and you could get a pension. Dipped into private so it’s even worse but working under and around faggot leftists is unbearable. Now I get to teach actual history and not worship mulatto lesbians

It absolutely can. You have a machine grade on:

grammar

length

mention of various words/topics and how much content is associated with them

etc.

We already have algorithms write articles so we can absolutely develop a kind of AI metrics that are configurable by the instructor.

Spits out a recommended grade, human verifies it, that's an easy startup company right there.

>Over the past 30 years, teams of auditors testing transactions have been replaced by a couple of people testing systems.

i worked in big 4 audit for a while. my firm (EY) spent a few hundred million dollars on the development of "analytics" driven testing software. it didn't decrease the number of people on the audit team. it didn't save the client any money. in fact, it resulted in more work and in my opinion it created even more risk despite the PCAOB being a part of its development. like all "machine learning," it's nothing more than a jewish black box where bullshit data is input and garbage data was output, the results of which were interpreted and manipulated such that the bottom line fits a partner's expectations and conforms to a client's bullshit tolerance.

I agree. It won't actually change anything - good educators will still get good results, while lazy ones will let their underperforming students fail. But it will create more standardization of curriculums and another step in the steady march of increasing the student:educator ratio.

Yep, but at least it's not the core focus of my job. I wouldn't want your job but I acknowledge it's purpose in sating our Jew overlord's need for financial quantization of everything under the sun.

these retards... have you programmed anything or worked in the real world? This would free up time for teachers and will give the papers a once over after the machine grades it. Full automation of jobs like this won't be in our lifetimes.
