Yeah it's crazy man. Even projects that are maybe not malicious in and of themselves are turned in to pump and dumps by people throwing way too money around just trying to game the system. You can read the TGs and watch people's hopes and dreams and optimism and ethereum get sucked from them. Before they know it liquidity is gone and they're left saying "s-surely this will do a 100000x".

Shit man the genuine comments I've seen people make about how they're going to have 7 or 8 figures "once this one goes big". They actually pull up a calculator and say

Realize it all only has as much value as how high on the pyramid you are. Why invest in stocks unless you're rich enough to have a controlling stake? Sure there might be some companies that might let the little man vote on decisions. Possibly? But you're not really getting anything out of your investment unless more people buy after you and inflate the price further.
Crypto no matter WHAT tech you are investing in or what shitcoin or what altcoin or whatever is all a pyramid scheme. Same with gold. It has value because scarcity and people thinking they'll buy only to resell later at a higher price. Anyone telling you they invest only in coins with good tech are coping. They know the company isn't going to produce results and pay them out personally for their investment.
You hardly see companies giving out dividends for stocks and even then it's tiny amounts you'd have to invest a million dollars in to actually see results worth it.

At this point I do believe there are way more people who are trying to scam anons than there are actual anons.
