I'm going to use this chart because it is easier then looking up a proper one. Ignore everything on it except the actual price fluctuations.
Now look at the chart for May 2019. See how it dumped? This was immediately before Consensus that year. Can you remember what happened at Consensus? Sergey announced Chainlink mainnet. Now look at the price after that, it spiked upwards and never dropped back below announcement price.
You are on the money and this will be the same.
