My dad has worked at the same company for 30 years at a warehouse, and he tells me that he's seen many guys who die in their 50s and 60s who swore they would spend their retirement doing things they enjoyed, only to die of a heart attack or cancer. Imagine that happening to you. My dad says he'll retire at 62 and do the same (he's 55) but he has a diet of fast food and shit so we'll see.
