Most advertisers buy through Brave directly. They're working on a self-serve ad dashboard that will let advertisers purchase campaigns with USD and it will automatically get converted into BAT. It launched internally a few months ago and they're gradually opening it up to more advertisers. Shouldn't be long before anyone can purchase ad campaigns without contacting Brave first.
