I did a biochem degree before going back for CS, and now CS is saturated too. The working class are crabs in a bucket on our way to the bottom.
Anyways, don't feel obligated to stick with what you study. I picked up a basic sales job for a tech company and make more $70k, more than many entry level devs now (the 100k starting salaries are a lie outside of the bay area). Now that you're done school, consider it a new horizon where you aren't obligated to be barricaded in a lab 5 hours/day anymore.

I get paid $29/hr with a $1-2/hour raise every year, and after I get my full red seal next year I immediately get bumped up to $37/hr (a red seal isn't really required for my job, but I get paid to go to school for it in the winter and it's a guaranteed raise).

If you fail anything more than a few classes, you should seriously reconsider whether or not the program is for you. Too many retards are brute forcing degrees with chegg; almost half of my second year CS class failed operating systems, which is basic shit.
